    Louis de Guzman Portugal, MD, specializes in the latest diagnostic, treatment and surgical techniques for head and neck disorders, including allergy and sinus disorders — as well as head, neck and esophageal cancers. Dr. Portugal is a member of the Center for Esophageal Diseases, where he works with a multidisciplinary team to treat all stages of esophageal cancer.

    Dr. Portugal is studying new methods of detection and treatment for patients with head and neck cancer.
