Infertility treatments include IUI and IVF, performance of ultrasound and saline sonography and hysterosalpingograms, and surgical treatments such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy to address specific reproductive disorders. Additional conditions managed include polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and primary ovarian insufficiency. Dr. Zamah is the Section Chief, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.
Dr. Zamah's research interests center on examining intrafollicular peptide signaling between the somatic cells and germ cell in the adult mammalian ovary, and how these signals affect developmental competence of the oocyte and granulosa cell function. Dr. Zamah is also clinically interested in understanding the role of ovarian reserve markers and reproductive outcomes as indicators of oocyte health.Associate Professorprns:coAuthorOfcoauthor ofprns:emailEncryptedemail addressprns:endDateend dateprns:fullNamefull nameprns:hasAuthorListauthor listprns:hasNetworkhas networkprns:hasPublicationVenuepublished inprns:informationResourceReferenceinformation resource referenceprns:isPrimaryPositionis primary positionprns:latitudelatitudeprns:longitudelongitudeprns:mainImagephotoprns:maxWeightmaximum weightprns:medlineTAjournal title abbreviationprns:meshDescriptorUIMeSH DescriptorUIprns:meshSemanticGroupNameMeSH semantic group nameprns:minWeightminimum weightprns:numberOfAuthorsnumber of authorsprns:numberOfConnectionsnumber of connectionsprns:numberOfPublicationsnumber of publicationsprns:personIdPerson IDprns:personInPrimaryPositionperson in primary positionprns:physicalNeighborOfphysical neighborprns:positionInDepartmentposition in departmentprns:predicateNodepredicate nodeprns:publicationDatepublication dateprns:similarTosimilar toprns:sortOrdersort orderprns:trainingAtOrganizationeducational organizationprns:trainingLocationtraining locationprns:uniquenessWeightuniqueness weightprns:yearyearAcademic ArticleArticleDocumentbibo:pmidPubMed IdentifierAddressvivo:addressCitycityvivo:addressPostalCodepostal codevivo:addressStatestate or provincevivo:authorInAuthorshipselected publicationsvivo:authorRankauthor rank in publicationAuthorshipvivo:degreeEarneddegree earnedDepartmentvivo:educationalTrainingeducation and trainingEducational Trainingvivo:freetextKeywordkeywordsvivo:hasResearchArearesearch areasvivo:hrJobTitleHR job titleInformation Resourcevivo:linkAnchorTextlink anchor textvivo:linkedAuthorlinked authorvivo:linkedInformationResourcelinked information resourcevivo:mailingAddressmailing addressvivo:majorFieldmajor field of degreevivo:overviewoverviewvivo:personInPositionpositionsPositionvivo:positionInOrganizationposition in organizationvivo:preferredTitlepreferred titleURLLinkvivo:webpagewebpagerdf:predicatepredicaterdf:typetyperdfs:labellabelConceptAgentfoaf:firstNamefirst namefoaf:lastNamelast nameOrganizationPersonRobertRosenfieldRobert Rosenfield41.7886000000000087.598699999999993611Rosenfield, RobertEmeritus/Emerita, ProfessorObstetrics and GynecologyD005640Chemicals & Drugs391470.970194Follicle Stimulating HormoneChicago60637IL1.593880.00589516204research areas0.9778560.9778561coauthor of12.22132.1324360similar to1131selected publicationsAuthorship 1110171Authorship 1113953Authorship 1100324Authorship 1118603Authorship 1137606Authorship 1118124Authorship 1152822Authorship 1162183Authorship 1166076Authorship 1177303Authorship 1189737Authorship 1185422Authorship 1196633Authorship 1191841Authorship 1202923Authorship 1221682Authorship 1222251Authorship 1220483Authorship 1174012Authorship 1174582Authorship 1175102Authorship 1177121Authorship 1231231Authorship 1240392Authorship 125439121948652Zamah AM, Mauro MJ, Druker BJ, Oktay K, Egorin MJ, Cedars MI, Rosen MPThe oncologistWill imatinib compromise reproductive capacity?
