overview Dr. Drury is a physician scientist who provides clinical care in the pediatric intensive care unit while pursuing research related to long-term outcomes for these patients. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Critical Care. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Indiana University, and spent time as part of Teach For America teaching high school physics before medical school. He completed residency in pediatrics at Advocate Children's Hospital in Chicago, then went to Oregon Health and Science University in Portland for critical care fellowship. During this time, he worked with the Pediatric Critical Care and Neurotrauma Recovery Program, and obtained a Masters in Clinical Research. His research focuses on long-term recovery of children who have been admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit.
