We are a multidisciplinary team whose focus is to better understand how mucosal immune responses are dysregulated in the context of intestinal inflammatory disorders. We are particularly intrigued by B lymphocytes that can display many roles beyond antibodies production and can contribute to the pathogenesis of many autoimmune disorders. To get a better understanding of the role played by B lymphocytes in the context of Celiac Disease, we combined mouse and human studies to characterize those cells in health and disease and assess their function.
