Dr Earing is an adult and pediatric trained cardiologist whom specializes in caring for Adults with Congenital Heart Disease, Marfan Syndrome and related connective tissue disorders, and Pulmonary hypertension. He completed his internal medicine and pediatric training at Rush University in Chicago, IL. He then completed his Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pediatric Cardiology training at Mayo Clinic. For 16 years, he served as the Medical Director of the Wisconsin Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, serving over 3000 ACHD patients annually. Most recently, in 2020, he was named a Professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Chicago-Medicine and the chief of cardiology for the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance between University of Chicago, NorthShore University, and Advocate/Aurora Healthcare. He has published over 90 manuscripts, including several national guideline statement articles. He serves on numerous national boards dedicated to furthering the care of patient with congenital heart disease, Marfan Syndrome, connective tissue disorders, and pulmonary hypertension.
