overview Milica Medved is a Research Associate Professor at the Department of Radiology at the University of Chicago. She obtained her PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago in 2000 and has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Medical Physics since 2014. She has over 20 years of experience in the development of novel acquisition and processing methods for quantitative MRI, including DCE-MRI, DWI, and water/fat spectroscopic imaging. Her main focus is in cancer detection and diagnosis, primarily in breast and prostate. Her other areas of interest are in application of quantitative MRI for treatment monitoring and uterine fibroid growth prediction, as well as in design and optimization of specialized MRI protocols. She is a current member of RSNA and ISMRM.
