overview Philip Connell, MD, is an expert in radiotherapy with a particular focus on sarcomas, thoracic cancers, and pediatric malignancies. This year he was again recognized by Newsweek as one of “America's Top Doctors” and by Chicago Magazine as a “Top Doctor” in the Chicagoland region. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Connell is an active cancer researcher. He received laboratory training in cancer biology through a National Cancer Institute fellowship. He has authored numerous medical reports and textbook chapters, and he serves as a reviewer for numerous medical journals.
