Overview Clinical Interests Dr. Lacy’s main clinical and research interest is in assessing the neurocognitive aspects (i.e., memory, attention, problem solving, & language) of neurologic, psychiatric and medical conditions. Degenerative dementias: Alzheimer, Parkinson, MSA, Frontal Temporal Dementia, & Primary Progressive Aphasia Epilepsy (pre and post resection) with WADAs evaluations Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (pre and post drain trials and shunt evaluations) Stroke & other Cerebral Vascular Disorders (i.e., CADASIL) Psychiatric Disorders: Attention Deficit Disorders; Learning Disabilities, & Depression Oncology: Brain Tumors & Breast Cancer (with Chemotherapy related issues) Traumatic Brain Injury & Concussion Autoimmune Diseases: Lupus, Graves, MS
Research Interests Dr. Lacy’s primary research focus in on understanding and treating the acute and longstanding cognitive deficits related to increased intracranial pressure (i.e., hydrocephalus). Congenital Hydrocephalus Aqueductal Stenosis Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus Chiari Malformations
