Doriane C. Miller, MD is a professor of medicine and a primary care internist. Her primary area of scholarship is the role of community engagement in research and medical education. Dr. Miller's work extends into the community through the Wellness Resilience Arts Program (WRAP), a partnership with the Logan Center for the Arts, where youth impacted by violent trauma in the community work with trauma informed teaching artists to develop artistic pieces that reflect the realities and resilience of their communities. Dr. Miller is the director of the Center for Community Health and Vitality, a part of the Urban Health Initiative and the vice-dean for Community and Divisional Values for the Biological Sciences Division.
