overview Dr. Mutlu is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Chicago. He is also the principal investigator/director of the NIH T32 Research training in respiratory biology. Dr. Mutlu's research focuses on the mechanisms of acute lung injury, and pulmonary fibrosis.
