    Tia Kostas, MD, is a primary care physician for older adults. She has a special interest in caring for patients with cognitive impairment and those with polypharmacy. She promotes interprofessional collaboration, and partners with healthcare providers from other professions, such as pharmacy, physical therapy, and speech therapy, to provide optimal patient care. Dr. Kostas is the Medical Director of the South Shore Senior Center, University of Chicago's primary care geriatrics clinic.

    Dr. Kostas is a medical educator, and teaches medical students, residents, fellows, and students from other healthcare professions. Her educational work focuses on developing a longitudinal interprofessional education curriculum for students at the Pritzker School of Medicine.
