    Dr. Groman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago. Her research program is investigating the neurobiological mechanisms of decision-making in normal and pathological states, with a particular interest in addiction. Her lab integrates behavioral paradigms with computational analyses, neuroimaging approaches, systems-level manipulations, and molecular analyses in rodents to generate mechanistic links between genes, signaling mechanisms, and behavior that can help us understand the pathology of addiction.
