    Dr. Yu is an Assistant Professor and a Clinical Diagnostic Physicist of Radiology. She holds a faculty position at the Committee on Medical Physics at the University of Chicago. Her research interests focus on x-ray imaging physics, image reconstruction, image processing, and image quality analysis. Her previous research experience includes Muon Tomography reconstruction algorithm and imaging quality analysis, Gamma-ray imaging reconstruction algorithms, Photon-counting CT image analysis and deep-learning-based super-resolution, and ultrasound performance evaluation using Random Hypoechoic Sphere Phantom. She is a reviewer of Medical Physics, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics. She also contributes to various committees of AAPM and AIUM.
